GMC has made a new Hummer for 2026. It is electric, and it is very fast. This new Hummer can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds. That means it can go very fast in a short time!
What Makes It Special?
The Hummer EV is not just fast. It also has a new driving trick called King Crab Mode. This helps the car move in a smart way. The back wheels can turn quicker than the front wheels. That makes it easier to drive on rocks, rough roads, or around big things in the way. It might even help with parking, though the Hummer is a very big truck!
Before, Hummers could already turn all four wheels. But King Crab Mode is better and more powerful. GMC says this new trick can also be added to older Hummer EVs by sending an update through the internet.
A Promise Kept
When the first Hummer EV came out, it had a button called Mystery Mode. GMC asked people to share fun ideas for what the button should do. King Crab Mode is one of those ideas. Now it is real.
The Fastest One Yet
The quickest version will be called the Carbon Fiber Edition. Not many of these will be made. GMC still calls the Hummer EV a supertruck. That means it is a strong, fast, and special truck. GMC started using that word before the Tesla Cybertruck was on the roads.
How Much Will It Cost?
GMC has not told us the price of the new 2026 Hummer EV yet. But it will likely cost more than the 2025 version, which starts at about $99,045. They also didn’t say how far it can go on a full charge, but more information will come when it arrives in stores later this year.
